Defenders Joseph Aidoo and Joseph Attamah Lawerh have both arrived in the camp of the Black Stars this afternoon ahead of Ghana’s clash against Sudan in the qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Pitted in Group C of the qualifiers, Ghana sits top of the standings after wins against South African as well as Sao Tome and Principe.
In this international break, the West African powerhouse is scheduled to face off with Sudan in a two-legged tie in the space of 5 days.
Today, the Ghana team has been given a massive squad boost with the arrivals of Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo, and Kayserispor defensive midfielder Joseph Attamah Lawerh.
With the pair’s arrival in camp, the squad number has now gone up to 20 with 3 more players expected to arrive later this evening.
According to the schedule of the team, players will train for the last time this evening at the Cape Coast Stadium before meeting Sudan for the first of two games on Thursday at 16:00GMT.
