Srinagar: The managing frame of the Jama Masjid right here claimed that government disallowed the ‘Shab-e-Barat‘ congregational prayers on the mosque on Tuesday. The Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid stated police and management officers got here to mosque within the Nowhatta house of the town and locked its gates at 5.30 pm.
It claimed it was once knowledgeable through the officers that the transfer got here on orders of the deputy commissioner of Srinagar.
The Auqaf stated it strongly protested the highhandedness of the government and dubbed the transfer as blatant interference and violation of non secular rights.
