Black Stars Step Up Training At Cape Coast Stadium

The Black Stars of Ghana have trained this evening at the Cape Coast Stadium as they step up preparations for the clash against Sudan on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

With both countries pitted in Group C of the qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, they are competing with South Africa as well as Sao Tome and Principe.

In this international break, Ghana is scheduled to face off with Sudan in a double-header encounter in what will be Matchday 3 and 4 of the ongoing qualifiers.

Ahead of the first leg, the invited Black Stars players have intensified training this evening after assembling in camp on Monday.

Today’s training session was held at the Cape Coast Stadium in the presence of Ghana FA technical director Bernard Lippert and Director of Coaching Education Prof. Joseph Mintah.

Head coach CK Akonnor and his technical team took the team through various drills as he hopes to get the lads in the best condition before Thursday’s crucial game against Sudan.
