The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Club Consult Africa, Yussif Chibsah has noted that the firm has no problem with the decision by Asante Kotoko to terminate the kits sponsorship deal with Strike.
The renowned firm in 2018 brokered the kit sponsorship deal for the Porcupine Warriors club on a 3-year deal.
Though there is a year left on the contract, Asante Kotoko has today through a statement signed by CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah stated that the deal has been terminated with immediate effect.
Speaking to Pure FM, Yusif Chibsah who is CEO for Club Consult Africa has indicated that he is yet to receive an official letter from Kotoko.
“I’m yet to receive a letter from Asante Kotoko SC over a contract termination. I have been receiving calls but yet to read their Press Release. Club Consult Africa contract with Asante Kotoko SC ends in October 2021 but there was a termination clause”, the Kotoko legend said.
Chibsah continued, “Club Consult Africa has no problem over a contract termination but we have some stocks at our disposal so Asante Kotoko should do something about it. The directors of Club Consult Africa will meet and decide the next step”.
Meanwhile, Kotoko has assured its supporters that a new kit sponsorship deal will be announced soon.
