Former Dutch football manager, Aad de Mos has backed teenage sensation Jeremy Doku to develop and become an even better player after sealing his move to Stade Rennais FC.
The highly-rated teenager joined the French Ligue 1 team on transfer deadline day after making a name for himself at RSC Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League last season.
Speaking on the transfer of the 18-year old, former Ajax manager Aad de Mos has noted that Jeremy Doku is in good hands at his new club.
According to the retired manager, the exciting young talent has numerous qualities and should be able to develop in France.
“He is in good hands. I have already seen Rennes play a few times. He will develop further, there. He seems like a good boy with many qualities.
“I was already impressed by him last season. I can imagine why Rennes opted to pay 27 million for the youngster”, the tactician noted in an interview.
Jeremy Doku has described his move to Stade Rennais FC as a step forward in his career and looks forward to becoming a better player in the French Ligue 1.
