Ex-Kotoko Defender Patrick Yeboah Backs Clubs To Excel In Africa

Former Asante Kotoko defender, Patrick Yeboah is tipping the club to do well in Africa in the 2020/2021 football season after insisting that the team has the best squad in Ghana.

The left-back over the past weekend terminated his contract with the Porcupine Warriors club having been limited to playing time under Coach Maxwell Konadu last season.

Speaking to Pure FM today, Patrick Yeboah has honestly indicated that his formal club has the best squad in the country. According to him, Kotoko can do well in Africa when the team receives the needed support from management.

“The current squad of Asante Kotoko is the best in the country now. Winning Africa is not about the best players you have but there are other things that the team would need from the management. I believe with the support of the management, they can do well”, the defender noted.

Asante Kotoko will be representing Ghana in the CAF Champions League competition in the 2020/2021 football season. To ensure the club is able to properly compete, they have recruited some top talent and still in talks to finalize deals.
