Alhaji Lawal Liman, a former chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s nomination of Alhaji Bello Matawalle as a minister.
In a statement released in Gusau, Liman stated that Matawalle’s nomination would bolster the APC in the state.
“With Matawalle as a minister and former governor Yari as a senator, the APC will remain the state’s strongest and most popular political party.
“We, the members of the APC in Zamfara, are grateful to President Tinubu for selecting a man who works for the success of the APC in Zamfara and the entire North West,” he said.
Liman implored Matawalle to live up to the trust placed in him by making Nigerians and Zamfarans proud.
He added, “We are hopeful and confident that Matawalle will contribute effectively to the development of our dear country as minister.”
