Alleging that they were harassed, that Grail, a cancer diagnostics business, failed to take appropriate action, and that it retaliated by excluding them from promotion consideration, three sales executives—all of whom are female—have brought suit against the defendant.
The lawsuits, which were filed earlier this week, are complicated by Grail’s purchase by Illumina, the largest DNA sequencing business, for $8 billion in 2021 — Illumina, however, has left Grail to function as a distinct company. The complaint includes the name Illumina.
The Santa Monica, California-based Vora Law Firm is defending each of the three plaintiffs.
