Ghana star, Edwin Gyasi is eyeing a quick return to the pitch with his teammates.
The former CSKA Sofia winger made a huge statement in their preseason game against Giresunspor.
However, Gyasi’s hopes of making official debut for the club in the TFF 1 League was delayed due to a minor setback.
After gaining full fitness, the exciting winger says he can’t wait to return to the pitch with his teammates.
“Injuries is part of the game. No one wants to get an injury but unfortunately, I got injured,” he told the club’s official club’s Youtube Channel.
“I must say that it was very hard for me because I really want to play and show myself to everyone, to the team and the coach.
“I can’t wait to start and play matches again and to compete. I think the people around hopes that Samsunspor goes back to the Super Lig where it belongs and that is what I also hope and striving for because that is why I came here to bring the club to the Super Lig,” he added.
He also called on the fans to rally behind the team in the ongoing season.
The 29-year-old joined the club as a free agent this summer and will play a vital role in the club’s quest to book a qualification to the Super Lig next season.
