india: Union Minister Nityanand Rai says 81 Chinese nationals given ‘Leave India’ notice, 117 deported in 3 years

The union preacher of state for residence, Nityanand Rai, educated the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that near to 81 Chinese nationals were offered ‘ Leave India‘ notifications and also 117 others from that nation were deported for going against visa problems and also the various other prohibited acts in between 2019 and also 2021, reported PTI.

Almost 726 Chinese nationals were put in the ‘negative listing’ for going against visa problems and also various other prohibited acts, he included.

The preacher stated the federal government keeps the documents of such immigrants, consisting of Chinese nationals, that go into India with legitimate traveling files.

He stated a few of these immigrants overstay past visa duration owing to lack of knowledge or under engaging conditions like clinical emergency situation or various other individual factors.

Rai stated in real instances where overstay is unintended or due to lack of knowledge or under engaging conditions, the duration of overstay is regularised after billing the fine costs and also visa is expanded if needed.

Where overstay is discovered to be deliberate or unfounded, ideal activity is taken according to the Immigrants Act 1946, consisting of issuance of ‘Leave India‘ notification to the immigrant and also billing fine and also visa cost, he stated.
