A Kaduna division Federal High Court judge, Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, has died.
After a brief illness, Justice Mallong passed away on Sunday, July 30 in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.
Hassan Amida Sulaiman, the court’s chief registrar, saddenedly confirmed Justice Mallong’s passing.
– FCT, Abuja Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a judge on the Federal High Court (FHC), has passed away.
According to Vanguard, Justice Mallong passed away in Abuja on July 30 after a brief illness.

Hassan Amida Sulaiman, the chief registrar of the Federal High Court, released a statement to The Nation on Monday, July 31, announcing the judge’s untimely passing.
It reads:
“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of our own, Hon. Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a judge of the Federal High Court, who passed away on Sunday unexpectedly after a brief illness in Abuja.“We will miss him more than words can express.
“Funeral arrangements will be communicated to the public in due time.”
A 64-year-old Supreme Court jurist dies

A source revealed that he passed away on Sunday, July 30; however, his family has not yet made the news public as of the publication of this report.
