The Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State has distributed 14 minibusses to alleviate hardship.
According to NAN, Mr. Segun Odunmbaku, Chairman of the LGA, disclosed this on Saturday while celebrating two years in office.
He stated that the release of the minibusses was part of his administration’s efforts to mitigate the effects of the removal of the gasoline subsidy on the residents of Ojodu and the surrounding area.
“Because of the level of infrastructure deficit we encountered, it was necessary for us to have a plan and narrow our needs to these four acronyms.”
The Daily Post recalls that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had urged states to implement measures to mitigate the nationwide impact of the removal of petroleum subsidies.
