Nathan Bishop has left Manchester United and joined Sunderland in a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
Wednesday, the Red Devils made this announcement via their website.
Bishop joined Manchester United in 2020 from Southend United and made his most recent appearance against Wrexham in San Diego.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a productive loan season with Mansfield Town in 2021/22.
Bishop was on the bench four times for Manchester United in the Premier League last season under Erik ten Hag, and he made four Papa Johns Trophy appearances.
Man United’s statement read in part, “Everyone at United would like to wish a hugely popular member of the squad the best of luck at his new club.”
