He was once taken into custody via the ED past due on Monday evening after wondering in New Delhi.
The Central company had previous performed searches on the place of abode of Pillai at Kokapet in Hyderabad and hooked up his houses.
Pillai was once allegedly frontman of a South liquor manufactureres’ crew. In line with investigating company, he gathered bribes from some other accused Sameer Mahendru, managing director of Indospirit and passed it over to the opposite accused.
Pillai was once allegedly given 32.5 in line with cent shareholding in Indospirit, which is claimed to have earned Rs 68 crore benefit because of cartelization. Out of this quantity, Rs 29 crore was once transferred to financial institution accounts of Pillai and different comparable accounts.
In January, the ED had hooked up a land parcel owned via Pillai value Rs 2.25 crore in Hyderabad.
