achieving academic success with seven kids
She not only graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, but she also earned the amazing distinction of being the class valedictorian with a perfect GPA.
Her accomplishment is all the more impressive given that she raised seven kids while doing it.
Payne expressed her utter appreciation and excitement during her valedictorian speech, which was recorded and uploaded to her YouTube account.
She expressed gratitude for her husband Joseph and her seven children, who had always been there for her and had been a continual source of inspiration and drive.
Payne noted in her address that “each step has been marked by the support and love of an amazing family who have been my rock and foundation throughout.”
Place temporary halt on your schooling
“To my precious children, you are the reason I strive for greatness, and I thank you for the inspiration and motivation you provide every day,” she continued.
Payne has a history of excellence in the classroom, having graduated from high school in 2006 as valedictorian and holding that position ever since.
Payne had difficulties along the way to college. She had a blood clot in a lung artery in 2006, which interfered with her ambitions and made her put her family and health first.
She briefly postponed her study so that she could help her husband run their party rental company.
But her love for helping others give birth inspired her to train as a doula and delivery assistant.
Taking on her next educational experience as a mother of seven
She eventually made the decision to go back to school to earn an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse degree in Midwifery, motivated by her exceptional experiences with her own seven children.
Arthur Keiser, PhD, chancellor of Keiser University, complimented Payne’s accomplishments and expressed satisfaction in honoring her as the class valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
He praised her for her perseverance and remarked that many Keiser University graduates share her passion of striving for greatness while balancing various duties.
Payne is already starting her next educational quest despite her recent success.
She is a student at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she is working toward a Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery.
Many have been enthralled by her inspirational story because she serves as a role model for tenacity, resiliency, and the capacity to combine personal aspirations with obligations to one’s family.
Graduating from the same university as his or her parents
Separately, a family achieved an unbelievable milestone that permanently inscribed them in a university’s history.
At the same university, a proud father, mother, and daughter all received degrees at the same time.
Greg, Ashley, and Robyn Adams received their diplomas from Texas Lutheran University (TLU) while donning lovely caps and gowns.
According to CBS, Ashley, the daughter of Greg and Robyn, was overjoyed to graduate alongside her adoring parents.
