The Senate begins confirmation hearings for El-Rufai and other ministerial nominees: Nigeria

On Tuesday, the Senate will review the remaining ministerial nominees sent to it by President Bola Tinabu.
The upper legislative chamber began the process on Monday, reviewing the resumes of fourteen of the twenty-eight nominees.

The Senate is likely to screen Uche Nnaji, Doris Uzoka, David Umahi, Ali Pate, Nasir El-Rufai, Ahmed Dangiwa, Hannatu Musawa, Lateef Fagbemi, and Muhammad Idris.

Ekperikpe Ekpo, Stella Okotete, Dele Alake, Wale Edun, and Waheed Adelabu are a few others.

The upper legislative chamber was screening Abubakar Momoh, Nyesom Wike, Joseph Utsev, Abubakar Kyari, John Enoh, and Abubakar Badaru in the meantime.

Yusuf Tuggar, Sani Danladi, Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Betta Edu, and Iman Suleiman Ibrahim are screened additionally.
