Union Ministry for Water Resources released Rs.125 crores from the Flood Control Fund for Assam


Union Ministry for Water Assets launched Rs.125 crores from the Flood Keep watch over Fund to Assam for the present fiscal.

Assam Minister for Water Assets, Govt of Assam, Pijush Hazarika met Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in New Delhi on Friday and thanked him for liberating Rs.125 crores from the Flood Keep watch over Fund to the state for the present fiscal.

Hazarika met Union Minister Shekhawat at his administrative center to specific his gratitude for liberating Rs.125 crores from the Central Govt‘s Flood Keep watch over Fund for the present monetary 12 months, which were mendacity closed since 2016 because of quite a lot of anomalies between 2011 and 2016.

Hazarika asked Shekhawat to liberate extra price range beneath the scheme within the coming days for taking over extra initiatives to make Assam flood loose.
